Like being in Greece

The best greek cakes/pastry bakery in the old town Esslingen. Every time I want to surprise my family with something sweet, I know which place to choose. They also serve (not in Corona-Lockdown) breakfast and something for lunch.

We got there yesterday at 5:25 p.m. and the bakery was already closed. The employee inside didn't want to open the door for us. The closing time is at 6 p.m., as it is written on Google and also on the door.

The staff is very nice and attentive. The range of Greek cakes, biscuits, pitas and pastries is large and everything was clean and appetizing. I only drank a latte macchiato and I don't know if I am too demanding, but dear cafe owners in Esslingen, where can you still have a warm, delicious, aromatic coffee? I am still looking. Let me know when I have found what I am looking for.

We are speechless !!!!!!! Large selection of homemade, self-created treats that absolutely deserve 5 stars + "******" in terms of appearance, taste and value for money. Also a big compliment to the seller who, to my surprise, informed me with a great deal of specialist knowledge about the composition of the individual delicacies. As a new customer I will definitely take one or the other with me when I come close again. Visually great presented very, very delicious pastry highlights. Insanely delicious pastries and small tarts. Really something special !! The staff is also super nice :)

The store also has seats on the second floor. Ice in summer was not a favorite taste. The clerk is friendly. The mini cake costs around € 1.40 and I'm happy.

Coffee and cake in the bakery is good. But just do not order a pie for an occasion. I can only say disaster. A single disaster. Pie was crooked, the cake itself seems to have been "filled in" by a plasterer than by a pastry chef. No clean conclusions. Decoration either oversized or mini. No eye for proportions. And last but not least, not even the right filling. Desired was chocolate / strawberry. Instead, just chocolate. Then you ask yourself, why do you take the time, go there, discuss the whole thing, write it down and still do everything wrong. Two stars just because the taste was good. Despite that it was just chocolate. As I said, not suitable for a party when guests come.

In my opinion, a really exceptional bakery. All tasty things. As you look at the water in the mouth together. They are from Greece. There is something for every taste. Also make great birthday cakes. There are 5 stars for me. Predicate highly recommended.

An amazing backery-café with a wide selection of sweet and salty choices. A mast see for anyone visiting Esslingen. Just ask to try one of their Greek-style pies, the iced cappuccino and whichever pastry your eyes desire!
